Whilst we may have conversed via the phone or even some good old fashioned messaging (tb), it is important that we get to meet each other to set out some ground rules between us: Where you want to work, company size, expectations, meaning of life etc! Building a trusting relationship moving forward is essential, meeting face to face will give us both the opportunity to do so. There may be times where we can’t meet, but don’t fret, the latest technology mean we can always Skype/FaceTime/ Hologram.
Having met and listened in detail to your career goals, next steps, deepest desires; we will have strategically put together a plan of action. Consulting with you means you are in control every step of the way. There is no pushing, no pressure and as a candidate you should be happy with the speed of how things are progressing. The shortlist will match up with what you have expressed interest in.
It’s a small market and important for me to be consultative on your behalf, interviewing can be stressful enough as it is, even for Recruiters… so I aim to make this as easy as possible.
Let’s say that you’re happy with the shortlist, you’re impressed so far, it might be time to interview. We are with you every step of the way, you’ll be given as much information as you want: Who you will meet, Interview Style, Company History and dress code. No doubt you will have your own research too but we will try and provide any information you need.
The feedback from you is just as important, if not more, as the feedback from the client. We want to make sure you have had a positive experience after each and every meet. Any comments, critique or compliments are welcomed. The feedback helps us to assess each stage of the process, advise you and create the best possible outcome.
In the recruitment industry, we know the importance of confidentiality. All information referring to you will be confidential unless otherwise specified by you. We offer a personable approach where we get to know you and you can get to know us, in a professional and personal capacity. I am sworn to secrecy until you make the news, public knowledge.
Even long after the process has completed, we will still be in contact, just ask the candidates I placed nearly a decade ago. Whether you need support adjusting to your new desk, want to talk about the best way to ask for a pay rise, you weren’t happy with your birthday cake or just want to talk about upcoming events. I am always contactable. Often my candidates become clients and candidates all over again, I plan to be here for a long time so the next 5 years’ is just the start of our R2R process.
